College students refuse to learn

I’m in college. As an old. I’m 52 and back in college setting up a second half life post retirement. Currently my day job is web application developer. but I am chasing a masters in English to teach writing post retirement. I’m a VERY against having ChatGPT or any generative ai do my writing for me, but I as a developer I understand where ai is a benefit. I interact with a lot of college kids who just won’t accept that ai is going to be apart for their future, and they need to understand how to ethically use AI to advance their future. It seems to be one end of the spectrum or the other.
