Dear OpenAI, please implement upgrade announcements

I know you guys release fast, but it gets super confusing when the model selector changes or there are changes to the tools menu or new models get released and I don't know about it when I sit down at my computer to start work in the morning. I shouldn't have to scroll through your updates on the website or discord or Reddit to find out there was a change in the menu first. That would take the most productive part of my day away from real work I need to do.
