How much mileage do you get with Claude pro subscription?

I am considering migrating from Gemini to Claude, but I wonder how much I will be able to.use it before I run out of output/input tokens. I used Claude for a very short time like a year ago but canceled my subscription because it tended to prompt me to start new conversations very frrquently. For context, I'm a scientist, and usually use both ChatGPT and Gemini. My conversations are usually several turns long and each prompt can have dozens of lines. I used them a lot to brainstorm ideas (mostly to get feedback), but also to code entire pipelines.
