Platforms like Swipey AI, Replika and a bunch of newer ones are pushing the bar on what these experiences feel like. Ive noticed alot of people saying they use AI companions not to replace real relationships but as a way to practice conversations, build confidence or just have somewhere to decompress without judgment.
