Wouldn’t it make sense for OpenAI to release the Sora 2 weights?

OpenAI has taken down their Sora 2 video model, presumably because it wasn't yielding a meaningful return and was simply burning money. They also told the BBC that they have discontinued Sora 2 so that they can focus on other developments, such as robotics "that will help people solve real-world, physical tasks". From what I can gather, they won't be focusing on developing video models.
