Will Iran be the first deployment of advanced AI warfare?

I'm sure we've all been following closely the recent developments in the Middle East, but there were some rather strange happenings in the last days which left me very suspicious. Regardless of one's opinion on the prescience and motivation of the first attack by the US administration and Israel, traditional military analysis would suggest that the geopolitical situation favours Iran rather than the western block. They have a chokehold on an important commercial route, with a deep strategic terrain full of mountains and deserts.
