I Gave 140 AI Agents a Constitution and a Kill Switch

TL;DR I built 140 AI agents on top of Claude Code, organized into 4 boards, 18 organizations, with a constitution, security halt authority, and autonomous decision-making. 367 tests, 135K lines of Python, and it actually runs. This article covers the design philosophy, technical choices, and spectacular failures - nothing held back. Why 140 Agents? Using ChatGPT or Claude as a single assistant, I noticed something: AI performs dramatically better as a team of specialists than as one generalist.
