Live AI video generation feels like it's about to become a completely different thing from what most people think it is

Most of the conversation around AI video is still framed around generation quality, like how realistic does the output look, how fast can you produce a clip. Which is fine but I think it misses what's actually interesting about where this is going. The interesting development to me is actual live inference, models generating frames in real time in response to a stream or interactive input, not producing clips.
