Feeling like I need AI

There's a new term I'm hearing, or maybe it's not all that new. It's called 'gradual disempowerment', and it basically means- maybe instead of AI swooping in with a bunch of capabilities and taking over the world, it'll play the long game, rotting our intellect until we're subservient. Part of me actually believes it. And if I'm honest, I think I'm a victim of it.
