It's honestly sick to even think about it but a major publisher almost released a book that was reportedly than 78% AI-written. It wasn’t caught by tools. It got noticed because something felt off to the reviewers That’s it. All the talk about AI detection, contracts, safeguards, none of it actually works as people found a loophole. For centuries, literature was considered an art that was a formulation of experiences, now AI just write it with a prompt So what’s left? Just words on a page. And when most books already follow predictable formulas, AI doesn’t need to be brilliant to pass.
