Using ChatGPT to turn long papers into slides, what actually worked for me

I’ve been experimenting with using ChatGPT to speed up turning long documents (like research papers or reports) into presentation slides, and I thought I’d share what’s worked and what hasn’t. What worked surprisingly well was using ChatGPT to break things into sections and identify key points. It’s pretty good at pulling out structure if you guide it a bit. The tricky part is that the output can still feel a bit “flat” like it’s missing emphasis or a clear narrative flow. To get around that, I tried combining it with a slightly different approach.
