My theory is that advanced AI video tools weren’t shut down just because of money. I think they were allowed to grow freely until they reached a key point: AI can now make videos that look real enough to fool people. Earlier examples were obviously fake, but now it’s getting hard to tell what’s real and what isn’t. I believe the public helped train these systems for free just by using them. Now that the technology is strong enough, our role is basically done. I think what might happen next is that these tools get removed from public access and kept by governments and large corporations.
