Traditional tech is starting to bet on DePIN for AI training. Nasdaq-listed Aether Holdings just partnered with a decentralized data network

We talk a lot about the data wall in AI, specifically how general data from the web is mostly tapped out. The next major hurdle for specialized LLMs, especially in finance and medicine, is high-quality, human-validated, domain-specific data. It looks like some publicly traded companies are starting to look at decentralized physical infrastructure networks to solve this, rather than traditional data farms. Aether Holdings just announced a joint venture with OORT, a decentralized AI data cloud.
