Spent $40 in 20 minutes on Claude Opus 4.6 high thinking

Tested it last night out of curiosity and dropped close to $40 in like 20 minutes Granted I know its one of the most expensive models out there and I did feed it my entire codebase so thats on me but still one call alone was $33 for 5.7M tokens But it does make me wonder if models keep getting capable and expensive where does that leave the average developer in a few years submitted by /u/Additional-Alps-8209 [link] [comments]
