How can I use Stable-diffusion to "generate" elements on my base image. I've had great success blending or enhancing detail, but not generating layers

Im working in architectural rendering and i find SD a great tool to enhance vegetation/texture etc. Im still running a1111 via PS for my workflow. However i cannot figure out how to "add/generate" elements. What should i look up to study? For instance the first image below is done Via Photoshop Gen Ai, and what i hope to achieve locally with SD.
