Issues with identity shift in comfyui i2v workflows

Hi folks I have seen a ton of videos with near perfect character consistency (specifically without a character lora), but whenever i try to use a i2 workflow (tried flux-2-klein and wan2.2 and such), the reference character morphs or less. Chatgpt argued that there are flows that implement reactor to continually inject the reference image into every frame generated, but i dont know if this how people make these videos?
