Hank Green perspective on slop

Generative AI
I really liked his video, because even though he is a "content creator" with a long history of depending on Youtube etc. for his livelihood, he doesn't just say "AI is bad" and move on from there. He really talks about effort and the value we place on it, and that even as AI gets better and better by leaps and bound, we still have a backlash against things that are, in the end, low effort. It started with slot-machining long meandering prompts to get malformed hands by Greg Rutkowski. Then it turned into the same anime-ish style done ad nauseum.
