Do you treat ChatGPT like a friend or just a tool?

Lately I have noticed something interesting. A lot of people are not just using ChatGPT anymore for productive tasks but they’re actually talking to it like a friend. Some of their Iphones shows Chatgpt as the Top App in usage earlier it was Facebook /Tiktok/X. They usually use it for sharing ideas, problems, even random thoughts and it keeps responding instantly, always helpful as it never gets distracted. In some ways, it feels productive than a lot of real conversations. But at the same time…it’s still just an AI.
