If AI gets smart enough to pass as human every time does being human even matter anymore?

Generative AI
One hand Im here because I think the tech is amazing. on the other hand I cant shake the feeling that we are building something that makes us obsolete in our own spaces. we are already at a point where AI can write better comments than most humans. Not smarter maybe but consistent, no ego, no bad moods, no typos. Just clean output. so what happens in 2-3 years when its indistinguishable? When you literally cannot tell if the person you are arguing with or buying from or dating is a human or an agent? Does it even matter.some people say yes because human consciousness is special.
