I've been watching the model release cadence for a while and something feels different lately. The shift from "model that can chat" to "system that can actually do multi-step work autonomously" has gone from being a research blog talking point to just. table stakes for anything new coming out. What's interesting isn't just the models themselves - it's how quickly enterprise tooling caught up. A couple years ago you had to really DIY agent orchestration. Now every major platform has some version of it baked in, and the patterns are actually starting to converge.
