What happens when 90% of humanity is no longer an economic asset, but a liability?

We often discuss AGI through the lens of what it will do, but we rarely internalize the "the end of work" as a total shift in human ontology. We are approaching a threshold where 90% of the population might become economically irrelevant to the owners of the AGI infrastructure. When creativity and intellectual labor are no longer scarce commodities, the very "currency" of human existence, our utility, evaporates.
