Generative UI Is the New Responsive Design

Frontend developers spent the last decade getting very good at adapting layouts to different screens. It just is not the interesting one anymore. The new problem is adapting the interface to intent. Generative UI is pushing a different shift into the open. Once an AI product does than stream text, the old model of "one prompt box, one response area, maybe a sidebar" starts to look tiny. You need interfaces that can change shape based on structured output, tool results, and what the system thinks the user is actually trying to do.
