Is chat GPT just taking everyones ideas and spitting it back out to the rest of the world?

I’ve noticed something - I’ll research an idea and not find much on it, then after discussing and refining it with ChatGPT, I start seeing similar ideas pop up everywhere a few months later. I’m not saying I’m the only one thinking of these things, but it made me wonder… is this just coincidence/confirmation bias, or is chat GPT just sharing everyones concepts and ideas even if they have selected don't use my data for
