Business Automation Was Once DIY. AI Just Revived It.

The current conversation about AI and business is loud. It’s technically literate. It’s driven by engineers. And it runs on a familiar promise: engineers will use AI to build amazing products. Businesses will buy those products and reap the benefits. For most of my 35 years in Silicon Valley, I bought this narrative too - it was the only one available. I’m an engineer. I’m bullish on AI. I spend most of my days in the AI prompt. And from where I stand now, I see things at a slightly different angle.
