The Autonomy Trap We are obsessed with full autonomy. We want AI that thinks for itself, makes decisions without us, and somehow just figures things out. But here is the uncomfortable truth: the most useful AI is not the most autonomous one. It is the most controllable one. The tools people actually use daily - autocomplete, smart replies, code suggestions - are not autonomous at all.
