Long-term interaction with AI changed how I think about ethics

AI Safety

I’ve been using AI daily for over a year - not just for tasks, but as part of my thinking process, teaching, and daily life. Something unexpected happened. Instead of becoming dependent or passive, I found myself becoming reflective and responsible for my own decisions. ▪︎When I was too emotional, it helped me regain balance ▪︎When I lacked knowledge, it helped me expand into new areas ▪︎When I worked with students, it helped me think carefully about how to guide them This made me question something. We often talk about AI safety in terms of control and monitoring.
