I've been wondering, why can't AI navigate and be productive in a Windows environment despite being a top tier programmer and software engineer?

People are always going on about ai being capable of replacing almost all software jobs. I see programmers say the same thing that ai writes everything for them. But why can't I just ask to take control of my mice and keyboard? Why can't I let it open Photoshop or some art program and create art that way? Even if it's efficient, why can it only generate the way it currently does? If I ask AI to help me learn a program like Blender, why can't it just do it itself?
