Universal Basic Income was never the right move.

The future with AI isn't going to involve Universal Basic Income. If that was going to work, welfare would already be successful. The way this will work is by socializing compute. We must fight back against private companies owning AI. Taxes should build compute, that way every citizen owns compute. We sell this compute to the world - domestic and foreign. This can help offset taxes and provide a sizeable tax return to citizens OR you get compute credits that you can use or sell. Then businesses can hire you as a broker for your compute allotment, for whatever their needs may be.
