AI Tools
A lot of discussion around AI-assisted development focuses on tools. Which model should you use? Which coding assistant is best? Which IDE plugin works the fastest? Those questions are interesting, but they miss something important. AI-assisted development is not really about tools. It is about workflow. When people struggle with AI coding tools, it is usually not because the model is bad. It is because the workflow is wrong. They ask the AI to produce code immediately, without context, planning, or structure. That works occasionally for small tasks.
