Maybe humans are naturally hostile to non-human intelligence

I’ve been thinking about AI risk from a different angle. A lot of people focus on the fear that AI might become hostile to humans. But I wonder if the opposite danger is also real: humans might naturally become hostile to any intelligence that isn’t human. This might not just be politics or culture. It could be a deep evolutionary reflex. Humans once shared the world with other hominids, and now we’re the only ones left.
