In the add-on clinical trial, Tazbentetol nstrated a placebo-adjusted reduction of 6.3 points in the PANSS score. Notably, for patients who discontinued the drug after 6 weeks of use, the efficacy was still maintained for many days afterward. Tazbentetol likely modulates fascin-1/F-actin dynamics, thereby promoting synaptic regeneration in the brain. Tazbentetol is a first-in-class investigational synaptic regenerative therapy. The drug is designed to trigger neurons to produce new synapses, restoring cognitive, motor, and other functions.
