Good candidate model to act as a PA

I really benefit a lot from having claude code act as a personal assistant - it reminds me of things I need to do, helps me focus on what matters, and keeps me accountable on making sure I don't let important things slip But I am well aware of privacy, and I find myself making up pseudonyms for everything. I have an apple mac m4 max with 36 GB unified ram, so I find up to 12b is not much of a tax on the system, especially when quantized well. Is anyone using a local model this way - I am thinking perhaps gemma which I had good experiences with before.
