What is, in your mind, the singularity?

Yes we can discuss how it’s an acceleration of AI or technology until it surpasses the capabilities of humans. But to me, it seems like the singularity is the ultimate moment where humans will end up needing to merge with machines. That is the singularity. That’s my own personal conspiracy. But I’m curious if you all feel this is where we are heading, as well. Eventually we will get to a point where I don’t think there will be another option.
