If you're building AI agents or SaaS products used by European companies (or processing EU resident data), the EU AI Act applies to you regardless of where your company is based. Full enforcement for high-risk systems starts August 2, 2026. High-risk means: credit scoring, recruitment filtering, healthcare triage, education assessment, critical infrastructure.
