GPT 5.4 and the "naughty chats"

I think people are framing ChatGPT’s “adult mode” discussion the wrong way. They act like there are only two options: either nothing exists, or OpenAI has already launched a full official Adult Mode. I don’t think that’s true. What I see is an in-between zone: GPT-5.4 already allows a kind of adult conversation that 5.3 did not allow in the same way. I’m not talking about full explicit porn. I’m not talking about the promised full Adult Mode. I’m talking about a middle layer.
