AI Hardware
NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark, unveiled at Computex this morning, fits a petaflop of AI compute and 128GB of memory into a thin Windows laptop. The marketing is loud, but underneath it is a genuine shift in where AI can actually run. The pitch sounds like a slide deck wrote it. A laptop that runs a 120-billion-parameter language model locally, with a million tokens of context, no cloud subscription, no API key, nothing leaving the machine.
