Letter to California Senate Judiciary Committee in Support of Bill to Require Connected Consumer Product End-of-Life Transparency

CDT submitted a letter to the California Senate Judiciary Committee in of SB 898, which would require manufacturers to give consumers a reliable guarantee, before they purchase a product that depends for its functioning on connection to the internet, of how long it will continue to provide the necessary for a safe and secure connection. CDT
